IWF & MFB

New generation waterproof flooring, with no PVC.

Grey oak IWF planks in a Scandinavian living room

Flooring · Engineered wood

IWF (inorganic waterproof flooring) and MFB (mineral fiber board) boards have a mineral and plant-fiber core under a melamine wear surface. They are waterproof, resist mold and mildew, hold steady through heat and temperature swings, and contain no PVC or plasticisers.

  • Waterproof

Suitable for every room, including bathrooms, kitchens and sunrooms.

  • Scratch and stain resistant

A liquid overlay adds up to 40% better scratch and stain resistance. Pet friendly.

  • Click and float

A 2G and 5G click locking system. Lay it over the existing floor if it is clean and level.

  • Stable under load

Low indentation, so kitchen islands and heavy furniture can sit on top.

  • Floor heating

Works over embedded radiant heating with the surface kept at or below 32°C.

  • Healthy indoors

Third-party lab tested. No VOC or formaldehyde release, says the maker.
